Studio Practice

Inspired by my experience of hill running, meeting Exmoor ponies and falling into a bog. This body of work reflects on the role of oxygen in shaping both material and personal transformation.

Image descriptions

Image 1: Close-up of the face of an Exmoor pony, located outside on a clear day with a blue sky in a green field, amongst others in the herd. Its mane is blowing in the wind, and the sun is shining on the smoky brown, red-brown, grey and black tones of the pony’s coat.

Image 2: Head and shoulders shot of smiling female runner with wind in her tied-back blonde hair. She is wearing a running vest with water straws visible at the front, and she is carrying a posy of bog cotton in her backpack.
